ROH's Revenue Optimization Platform
How we increased hospitality brand and property group revenue by 15% through a first-of-its-kind revenue optimization platform.

Who is ROH?
ROH is a rapidly evolving proptech company building a revenue optimization platform for the largest hospitality groups, asset owners, and their brands that manage over $500B in annual revenue.
Project Overview
When ROH discovered that hospitality and property groups were using outdated software to handle operations, cash flow, and margins, they identified a problem that no one else was willing to tackle. They set out to design the first revenue optimization platform for hospitality brands, which would enable them to manage payments, improve conversions, increase revenue, and enhance communication and collaboration across departments.
As the lead product designer on the project, I identified 3 needs for our primary persona:
Quick, up-to-date insight into invoices & payments
Clear task prioritization (creating invoices)
Accessible, relevant tasks based on payment status
ROH’s admin dashboard
Notifications, quick insights and a recent activity feed all directly address the need for a venue admin to have quick, up-to-date insight into invoices & payments
Clear task prioritization for venue admins to encourage easy invoice creation
Adding a new invoice (the persona's primary task)
Venue admins see relevant tasks based on invoice status in the invoices list
Outcome
Properties who signed on with ROH saw 15% increase in ROH-managed revenue, a 4.5x return on investment, and a significant uptick in customers converted.
We established a strong technical and design foundation upon which we will continue to build new features and improve existing ones.
We developed a new design system for ROH. This enables us to build new features more quickly while maintaining visual consistency.
